Fault

Cause Analysis

Troubleshooting Method

PUMPS

No

Water

Rotation direction is incorrect

Adjust motor rotation direction; test on land — reverse rotation in water is not allowed

Blade fixing failure

Check blade and impeller fixing device; adjust blade installation angle

Insufficient

Flow

System head exceeds PUMPS rated head

Reduce system head, raise water inlet level, or select a new PUMPS model

Blade setting angle too small

Re-adjust blade angle

Rated speed not reached

Eliminate motor faults

Impeller outer diameter worn or damaged

Replace

Valve not opened

Check valve

Pit installation or cylinder seal not properly installed

Reinstall

When multiple PUMPSs share a common pipe, no check valve installed or poor sealing

Inspect, replace or add check valve

Leakage

Protection

Activated

Mechanical seal defect on motor side

Replace

Loose plug causing water ingress

Replace plug seal and dry motor

O-ring failure causing water ingress

Replace O-ring and dry motor

Overload

Abnormal Noise

& Vibration

Improper installation

Reinstall according to installation drawing

Operating beyond allowable performance range

Stop operation outside allowable range (check voltage and working medium conditions)

Foreign matter wrapped around blades, guide vanes or trash rack

Remove debris

Low water level — insufficient impeller submergence causing cavitation

Stop operation or reinstall PUMPS to lower installation height or raise water level

Incorrect blade angle or damaged blades

Adjust blade angle or replace blades

Bearing damaged or lack of lubrication

Replace or add lubricant

Drain Indicator

Light On

Mechanical seal failure on PUMPS side

Replace mechanical seal and change oil

Terminal Box

Sensor Signal

Power cable gland not tightened

Tighten

Cable damaged

Replace
