Maintenance Precautions for Submersible Axial Flow PUMPS

  1. Disassembly method of the submersible axial flow PUMPS: Before disassembly, mark the joint between the front and rear end covers and the motor base with a chisel. Since the motor assembly at the factory is reasonably configured, improper reassembly after repair may cause slight deviations and result in inflexible shaft rotation. During disassembly, carefully observe the burnout degree of the winding and preliminarily analyze the cause of burnout. Pay attention to easily detectable faults such as slight stator rubbing and broken bearings.
  In addition, when repairing burned windings of the submersible PUMPS motor, protect the iron core and plastic protective ring. Improper methods may cause the iron core to expand outward or become damaged. When the motor is energized, electromagnetic effects may cause core vibration and winding vibration, easily damaging insulation paper and enamel wire insulation.
  2. The coil model must match and winding must be correct. After one phase is properly embedded, embed the next phase so that the end forms a “three-layer plane.” The ends must be firmly wrapped to prevent damage during assembly.
  3. Adjust the position of the “limit screw” properly. During adjustment, ensure careful operation so that the rotor rotates smoothly and the no-load current is minimized. Then the lock nut must be tightened securely.
  4. Waterproof insulation at the joints must be handled properly. Strip the sheath and insulation layer at the joint, remove the paint and oxide layer from the copper wire surface, and solder after twisting. Then remove sharp corners, burrs, and solder residues. Wrap six layers with polyethylene tape using half-overlap, and then wrap two layers with polyester adhesive tape using half-overlap as a mechanical protection layer.
